Elian K. never grew out of her emo phase—and it shows.

Behind each of her stories is an attraction to the dark and the gothic, the nagging compulsion to write star-crossed characters, and a playlist full of sad rock ballads.

When not writing, Elian works as a software developer, binges anime in hopes of crying at the end, and competes in dog agility with her Shetland Sheepdog. She grew up on RPGs and the Warriors Cats series, and today she lives in Colorado with too-many pets and her husband, who she forces to help edit her novels.
